The third edition of the Report "The perception of climate risk for the companies listed on the FTSE MIB and FTSE Italia Mid Cap stock exchange indices" has been realized by Carbonsink and Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei and is based on the information made public on climate disclosure, outlining the degree of maturity of the most important Italian companies in terms of climate change.
The main novelty of the 2021 Report concerns the extension of the sample taken into consideration. In addition to the FTSE MIB companies, there are also companies of the FTSE Italia Mid Cap. The sample thus increases from 40 to 100 companies, a significant increase that allows for a more detailed picture of the Italian situation. The survey methodology has been further improved to capture the main trends in a continuously evolving context, at the level of policy, awareness, voluntary action, such as the European taxonomy, scenario analysis, and the measurement of R&O financial impacts.
With this Report, Carbonsink and Fondazione Eni Enrico Mattei intend to provide a tool of reflection for companies engaged in the definition of carbon neutrality strategies and stimulate the public opinion debate on the path of action for the climate outlined by the Paris Agreement.
