"Promoting the international nature of environmental issues is today essential to stimulate a strategic debate for national sustainable development" are the words used to present the new virtual edition of the Milano Green Forum, scheduled for next November 20, in which international and national speakers they will share ideas, knowledge and projects with the aim of increasing the awareness of the different interlocutors on the importance of continuing to talk about the environment.
Andrea Maggiani, Managing Director Carbonsink, will take part in the "Green Talk" entitled "We leave coal to the Befana", an event dedicated to the net-zero emissions transition required by the middle of the century, where thanks to the experience gained over the years in the sectors of Climate Finance and Carbon Management, he will illustrate the main tools available to the private sector to achieve Carbon Neutrality.
The focus of this new edition is dedicated to the European Green Deal and as underlined by the Head of the Representation in Milan of the European Commission, the decarbonisation of our economy will be possible "only by transforming climate and environmental challenges into opportunities in all economic sectors and styles. of citizens' lives. While in countries all over Europe we are witnessing a resurgence of Covid-19 cases, we must remember that the paradigm shift of the Green Deal and the Next Generation EU will be the oxygen of recovery ".
