Carbonsink in Singapore for the new edition of Innovate4Climate
Carbonsink will be present in Singapore for the new edition of Innovate4Climate, one of the most important global events dedicated to climate finance, sustainable investments and the Carbon Market.
An annual event created with the aim of promoting a global dialogue related to climate finance and sustainable development. It is a real platform that brings together business, financial and political leaders to accelerate action on the climate and for the transition to sustainable development and Carbon Neutrality.
The new edition to be held from 4 to 7 June in Singapore is the 3rd edition of I4C and will be based on previous events held in Barcelona (2017) and Frankfurt (2018), which focused on unlocking trillions of investments in the private sector necessary to increase national climate plans and accelerate the global transition towards a low-carbon future, supporting new sustainable development paths.
Andrea Maggiani, Carbonsink Managing Director, will participate in the third edition of I4C, a great opportunity for in-depth study and networking, to learn about new opportunities for climate investment, identify new trends in the development of disruptive models and technologies to ride low-emission economies of carbon, exploring innovative financial instruments and mechanisms for mitigating climate change and discovering new carbon pricing initiatives (Carbon Pricing) to stimulate an effective reduction of the costs of emissions and achieve economic, environmental and social objectives.
Confidence in climate objectives and in the use of Sustainable Finance to face climate change is fundamental and Carbonsink is certain that by bringing sustainable financial instruments closer to companies, the private sector can contribute to raising the level of awareness of climate change global.
I4C is an event organized by The World Bank Group (WBG), The National Climate Change Secretariat (NCCS), The Ministry for the Ecological Transition (MITECO), The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and International Finance Corporation IFC.
