Carbonsink at the Global Compact Network Italy Webinar dedicated to Science-Based Targets
Carbonsink will be present at the Webinar organized by the Global Compact Network Italy (GCNI), entitled "The contribution of companies to the fight against climate change: the Science-Based Targets", scheduled for Wednesday 24 June (11.00-12.30).
The goal of the Webinar as indicated by the GCNI is to "investigate the issue of how companies can and should contribute to the fight against climate change, reducing their emissions and adopting corporate climate strategies". We are very happy to participate in the certainty that the adoption of science-based targets is an important tool available to companies to obtain a competitive advantage in the net-zero emissions transition.
Carbonsink's speech at the Webinar will be curated by General Manager Guido Alfani who will take care of showing, through Carbonsink's experience as a consultancy company specializing in climate strategy, the importance of defining ambitious targets for climate change mitigation to ensure that its Climate Action is in line with scientific objectives, illustrating challenges and barriers to commitment.
